Dealing with Rejection
So last year I finished my first novel. I was pretty stoked because the process went pretty smoothly and I’m quite satisfied with the results. I sent it to a few friends to read over and the results are positive. I edit and tweak the story and have proclaimed it finished (until a publisher tells me to make changes). Once all that was finished I was left with a strange sense of “now what.”

occasionally stretching of your zone is a good thing for you but very few people want to do it. Let’s face it, it is stressful and sometimes a little scary to set out of it, heck it is called a comfort zone for a reason. I’m comfortable there, it is safe and cozy and I know exactly what is expected of me. Outside of it is dark and scary and worst of all, I might fail.
